Check Apache, MySql, and PHP versions

To further check LAMP stack installation, the following can be made to know the exact installed version of each application.

Check the exact Apache2 version

Type apache2 -v on the command line.

$ apache2 -v

Apache 2.4.7 was installed

 

Get the specific installed PHP5 version

Type php -v on the command line.

$ php -v

PHP 5.5.9 was installed

 

Know the particular MySql version

Type mysql -uroot -p on the command line.

$ mysql -uroot -p

You will be ask to enter the ROOT PASSWORD.

Just enter the ROOT PASSWORD.

MySql 5.5.44 was installed
